Welcome to PLANDflex CORPORATION
This name, PLANDflex, is a made up word - intended to convey both the attitude and diversity we offer clients, and to reflect the attitude of ownership:
- plan
- planning
- land
- P .. as in P3 (public private partnerships)
- P as in property - residential, commercial, agricultural, recreational, investment and development
- flex ... as in flexibility
I am flexible, both in my own business pursuits and in the pursuit of 'right for the client' solutions to meet the needs of our clients. Client relationships are the foundation of every success I've ever known. Knowing, liking (that always helps) and trusting - of each other is fundamental.
I've been involved in real estate, real estate finance and development - residential and commercial, since 1978.
What can I do to help you?
PLANDflex is my private company; I am 100% owner.
I run most of my active business activities (consulting, real estate revenue, publishing and writing activies under the auspices of PLANDflex Corporation). And, for clarification, real estate agency work - as described in the Real Estate Act of Alberta requiring licensing and regulatory oversight is done under my license and under contract with MaxWell Capital Realty where I am VP Commercial working out our Burbank Rd. office as shown below.
P.S.: I've often been asked about the PLANDflex Corporation name. The company was begun in partnership with my very good friend and contemporary, my late partner Barry Brovender. When we created and registered this made-up name, beyond obvious references to planning and flexibility, we deliberately created a word with only two specific vowels, as an homage to our grandfathers. A for his grandfather Abraham, and E for my grandfather Edward. We thought this added to our objectives for this company we established as a P3 development firm to pursue a project that never materialized. We did that to validate who we are, humbled to aspire to work in the spirit of and reverence for our grandfathers, more than their DNA and legacy. We live and work only because we stand on the shoulders of their character and unwavering dedication to ethical dealings ... which was our foundation and one I'm proud to continue.
